Nate Robinson knows you gotta get up to get down. Unfortunately, so does Rodney Stuckey.
Stuckey, who is having a fine year in Detroit at 17/4/4, easily had the play of the night in a losing effort to the Boston Celtics. Against all odds, the Detroit Pistons managed to handle the Celtics front lines for the better part of three quarters, before Boston finally pulled away in the fourth.
With Boston up six and looking to further the margin, Nate Robinson made a ridiculously agile cut to the bucket, beating Stuckey from the start. The picture perfect pass to Robinson right under the bucket all but assured the Celtics of the eight point lead they were looking for, but Stuckey recovered and sent Robinson’s shot flying.
