Last night Team Canada defeated the Germans and advanced to face the Russians tonight at 7:30 PM EST. The Canadians players enjoyed facing a goalie that did not rhyme with “Hiller” or “Miller” and they were finally able to turn their scoring chances into goals.
With the game at 2-0 for Canada, Shea Weber “hit the net” with a cannon from the point. The game continued after the shot until the play was dead. They reviewed the shot and the puck actually went right through the mesh of the net.
When was the last time a puck went through the net?
