Grizzlies, Clippers Evacuated

A rather scary moment at Fedex Forum tonight ensued when every person inside of the arena was forced to evacuate after a message appeared on the jumbotron.

The instruction simply read: May I have your attention please! An emergency has been reported. Leave the building by the nearest exit. Do not use the elevators.

Thankfully, the evacuation was only a result of low pressure inside of the arena due to a broken water main.  The Los Angeles Clippers left the building rather quickly after Baron Davis clutched his free throw, and assembled in the team bus across the street until the arena was deemed safe. Who joined them? None other than their opposition – the Grizzlies also huddled inside of the Clippers team bus, in a fairly ironic twist.

The fans who returned to the game after the delay were rewarded with a fairly eventful comeback, as the Grizzlies climbed from twelve down with minutes remaining in the third to win the game 104-102. Marc Gasol’s 24 and 15 led the way for a suddenly resurgent Grizzlies squad.

Below is the video of the mass exodus from the arena, and now is a great time to begin Clippers suck/voluntary evacuation comments.
