Trade rumors are swirling and a few of the minor pieces on the free agent market have started to disappear. The Blue Jays and White Sox made the most noise yesterday and today with a couple moves, while the Red Sox have been stirring up the rumor mill the most. - Red Sox would have to give up both prospect Casey Kelly and pitcher Clay Buchholz to acquire Roy Halladay
- Boston is also looking at acquiring Justin Duchscherer as a starting pitcher
- Phillies signed Dwayne Wise and Wilson Valdez to minor league contracts
- Royals traded infielder Tug Hulett to the Red Sox for cash or a player to be named later
- Marco Scutaro has the Red Sox as his top choice to sign with for 2010 and beyond
